| The Vedovato Library | Profesor Giuseppe Vedovato,
dawny Przewodniczący Zgromadzenia Professor Giuseppe Vedovato,
a former president of the Parliamentary Assembly,
donated this rich collection of over 20 000 volumes on 20th century European history,
diplomacy and integration.
The library is continually being extended and the collection is open to the public.

The information and documentation centres on the Council of Europe were set up by the Committee of Ministers at the request of various countries.
The aim of the centres is to provide public authorities (e.g.
ministries and government departments) and private individuals and bodies (e.g.
NGOs) with information and documentation on the Council of Europe's activities and achievements,
and to support and promote the Council of Europe's initiatives in the respective countries.
